A Day's Hunt

Our service provides a professional guide, prescouted fields, decoys, private waters, blinds, and dog for each hunt.

Let the hunt begin!!

Licenses: All hunters are required to have a valid Washington State Hunting License with State and Federal Waterfowl Stamps.

Guns & Ammunition: Hunters are responsible for providing their own guns and ammunition to meet WA state requirements of non-toxic shot. We recommend the use of 12 gauge shotguns and BBB or T steel shot for geese, and 2 or 1 steel shot for ducks.

Clothing: The Columbia Basin is known for its varying temperatures. They can range from 60 degrees to 10 below, so be sure to wear appropriate clothing in layers. We recommend good camouflage clothing and hip boots or waders for duck hunting, and a good pair of insulated coveralls for goose hunting.

Beverages: Coffee and hot chocolate are recommended for the hunt, but no alcoholic beverages during the hunt.

Lodging: Reference our contacts page for information on local motels and hotels. If problems occur please contact Big Bend Guide Service directly.

Before the Hunt: Meeting places and times will be established the night before each hunt by contacting Big Bend Guide Service or Chris Hutsell at (509) 750-6858 or (509) 765-4233.

We look forward to meeting each of you and having an exciting hunt!
